Zeus and his family were worshipped intensely throughout the Greek world and especially so in the classical Greek period of 350 BCE.   In this highly clairvoyant era, there was no separation between gods and men.  The “god team” was called upon to direct even the smallest affairs of men. As the sole dispensers of character and personality to the people, the Olympians naturally felt obliged to assist. The Olympians managed the very complex day to day thoughts, impulses and affairs of those they created and ruled.   No problem was too small or too large to gain the support of the gods.
