The bee goddess found in Aegean and Near Eastern cultures is found in the temple to the goddess’s at Louchrew. Bee priestesses referred to as Melissa in the Greek, or Deborah’s in the Hebrew were at one time serving the various Bee Goddesses: in the Classical Greek times Aphrodite, Artemis, Cybele, Demeter, Rhea.
